The user data can be entered manually or imported via an appropriate plug-in, if one exists for the used LMS. In order to work with the user data, the corresponding tab Users must be opened. The adaptive menu of the LMSA Kit then shows the functions for editing the user data in the menu bar. Clicking on Users in the menu bar opens the menu with the editing functions.
If the mouse pointer remains above the entry Import from another source... a submenu opens. It contains a list of all data formats that the LMSA Kit can import via the installed plug-ins. Click on the desired entry. Subsequently, a file-open dialog opens. Select the corresponding export file of the LMS within this dialog. If necessary, further dialog windows open to guide you through the import process. The imported user data will be added to the user list.
Data can also be entered manually. Just double-click in the Name or ID field of the empty line at the bottom of the list. This field then gets the keyboard focus and you can write in it. It will be added as a new entry to the list and a new, empty line will appear.
In the same way existing data can be changed. Double-clicking on the desired name or ID field makes it editable. The additional fields can be edited or supplemented with the three buttons Add, Change and Delete.
To delete an entire entry in the user list, simply mark the complete entry. Just click in the corresponding line, the line becomes highlighted in blue. Pressing on remove deletes the entry.
